FMCSA Addendum

Last updated: June 18, 2026

This document is provided by Ironhorse Logic LLC (doing business as Shield Carriers) and is pending attorney review.

This addendum spells out how Shield Carriers interacts with your FMCSA-regulated contact obligations. The service is operated by Ironhorse Logic LLC (doing business as Shield Carriers).

What we do

We issue you a Twilio phone number and an email address ('shield contacts'). Inbound traffic on the shield contacts is filtered by allow/block lists, safety rails, and your channel mode.

What we do NOT do

Ironhorse Logic LLC (doing business as Shield Carriers) does not file with FMCSA on your behalf. We do not change MCS-150 or SAFER filings for you. You remain responsible for keeping those filings current.

Always-allow

We always pass through emergency services, federal/state/local government, DOT/FMCSA/PHMSA inspectors, the National Consumer Complaint Database, CHEMTREC and the National Response Center, courts, and process servers we can identify, even when your channel is in block_all mode.

Number lifecycle on cancellation

On cancellation we stop forwarding calls, texts, and emails and hold the underlying Twilio number for 15 days, then automatically release it back to Twilio's pool. Ironhorse Logic LLC holds the number during this window so you can update your filings before it is released. The same 15-day hold applies if Ironhorse Logic LLC (doing business as Shield Carriers) ends your service, whether for cause or for convenience.
