Ironhorse Logic LLC (doing business as Shield Carriers) uses the following third-party services to operate Shield Carriers. Each receives the minimum data required for its function.

  • Twilio — telephony (voice + SMS), shield number setup and lifecycle.
  • Postmark — inbound and outbound email for the shield address.
  • Clerk — user authentication and session management.
  • Stripe — subscription billing, payment method handling, and referral payouts via Stripe Connect.
  • Apple (App Store / StoreKit) — in-app purchase and subscription processing for the iOS app; receives purchase and renewal transaction data.
  • OpenAI (via the Replit AI proxy) — speech-to-text transcription of voicemails; receives voicemail audio and the resulting transcript text.
  • Google (Google Analytics / GA4) — product and usage analytics for our public website; receives the pages a visitor views (page paths and titles), approximate location, device and browser information, and a cross-domain session identifier. Runs only on the public website and only after a visitor accepts analytics cookies; receives no carrier message content and is not used for targeted advertising.
  • Object storage (S3-compatible) — stores account data and admin CSV exports, and profile photos.
  • name.com — DNS hosting for our email-sending domains; receives domain names and DNS records only, never carrier content.
  • Slack — internal operational and error alerts; receives system health summaries and sanitized error details, not message contents.
  • Managed Postgres — primary application database.
