SMS Messaging Program

Ironhorse Logic LLC (doing business as Shield Carriers) ("Shield Carriers," "we," "us," or "our") operates an SMS text-messaging program to support motor carriers who use the Shield Carriers service. This page describes that program and how end users consent to receive text messages from us.
What messages we send
Our text messages are account and service notifications only — for example, a one-time verification or login code, an alert about activity on your shield number or shield email, a reminder about your free trial or subscription, or a response to a request you made. These are transactional service messages. Shield Carriers does not send marketing or promotional text messages, and Ironhorse Logic LLC (doing business as Shield Carriers) never sells your phone number.
Message frequency
Message frequency is low and infrequent — these are recurring account and service messages sent only when something on your account needs your attention, so the number you receive varies with how you use your account. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How you opt in
You opt in to text messages from Shield Carriers when you create an account and check the separate, optional consent box agreeing to receive text reminders and alerts. Opting in is not a condition of using the service — you can use Shield Carriers without agreeing to texts. When you opt in, we record your consent, including the phone number, the time, and the version of the consent language you agreed to.
STOP, HELP, and START
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any of our text messages; we will stop sending you texts and confirm that you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at contact@shieldcarriers.net. If you have opted out and later want to receive messages again, reply START to resume. Shield Carriers honors STOP, HELP, and START replies as A2P 10DLC rules require.
Your privacy
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in and consent information are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This is the optional consent step shown when you create a Shield Carriers account (and again in Settings → Text reminders). The box is unchecked by default — opting in is never required to use the service.

Optional. Get a text before your free trial ends — and a nudge if it lapses — so you never lose your shield number by accident.
